Cherokee Village Resort has become the chosen annual location for many group events preferring
privacy without public distraction. Our larger Pavilion with its extended two-tiered Patio and
connected Pavilion House provides an ideal set-up for reunions, retreats and conferences. Food
service coordination is made easy from the large pavilion house kitchen to the pavilion by way
of a covered breezeway. Banquet tables and chairs are also available. Our second Pavilion provides
additional covered space for smaller groups to gather. The Cherokee Village Resort lay-out is flexible and
can be configured to allow for a variety of group sizes and activities.
Our lighted, larger Pavilion has commercial ceiling fans, numerous electrical outlets and concrete
floors. A beautiful fossil and stone fireplace gets plenty of use during
the cooler mornings and evenings of spring and fall. Have a seat on the patio and enjoy the lakeview
while sipping morning coffee. Basketball, horseshoes and volleyball are conveniently located on the
Pavilion grounds. Sit back and relax in one of our rocking chairs and enjoy a Texas-tall cool drink
after a fun filled day on Lake Whitney.
After sundown, our guests enjoy the camaraderie found around our outdoor campfire circle while
catching a glimpse of a shooting star or enjoying a brief visit from one of our local, skittish,
foxes. There is a place for everyone and every age at Cherokee Village Resort.
